When we heard about the Doggie Donation Corps, a charity that raises funds to help pay for service dogs for our wounded veterans, SeabuckWonders donated a basket of our skincare goodies for the fundraising raffle. Dr. Dawn Marcus MD, a board-certified neurologist and professor at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center as well as an avid dog lover, has written about our involvement with this charity and about our sea buckthorn products. The Doggie Donation Corps is a group of patriotic pups who wear a bright red Canine Support Teams bandanna and visit neighbors and friends to beg for donations to help raise the $15,000 needed to pay for the training of a service dog for a wounded Veteran. Canine Support Teams is a non-profit organization that provides trained dogs to Veterans at no charge to the Veteran through their Pawz For Wounded Veterans program. SeabuckWonders is proud to be a part of such a noble cause helping our wounded veterans live brighter lives! Recently we received a thank you letter from Canine Support Teams due to our contribution!
