Mini Blog: What Fair Business Means to Us

In honor of Fair Trade Awareness Month and we wanted to take a moment to share the way Seabuckwonders does business and talk a little about our mission. Since 1994, we have gone out of our way to make fair business practices part of our core mission.

SBT is an amazing crop because it is sustainable to the environment that it grows in and provides a sustainable income for the farmers who grow it. Sustainable harvests and fair pay for workers is just the beginning. In 2011 SeabuckWonders partnered with the local government to plant 500,000 sea buckthorn trees in an erosion plagued area of Tibet. This long-term effort will save the rapidly eroding land as well as provide future employment to local farmers.

We truly believe in fair business practices. We are proud that our business and are committed to not only continuing our own practices but also to share with as many people as possible how important Fair Business really is!
